This was the 2nd quiz that our school has held, thanks to sister Farzana for making a reality. The children competed in jeopardy style and everyone enjoyed it and learned so much.

2nd Annual Quiz 2018/2019
The 2nd Annual Islamic Quiz was held on May 12, 2019. The students prepared for the Quiz diligently and participated enthusiastically. Tr. Nura was an amazing host and Farzana and her team did a fabulous job organizing the event. The Quiz was a huge success and all participants were given monetary awards, winners getting something extra.
Level 5 – OMSI Field Trip

Visit to Baha’i Center Beaverton
On Feb. 24th, 2019, Bilal School grade 9-12 students visited the Baha’i center in Beaverton for an interfaith conversation and to learn more about the Baha’i faith. Our students and parent volunteers were welcomed warmly by the center on a rainy day with music, tea and snacks.
2018/2019 Islamic Project Fair
Another year of Bilal Sunday school students working very hard to create their projects. Despite the busy school schedules and activities they made sure that this was a very successful Fair! Here are a few pictures.

Visiting Gurudwara
Level 9+ students visited the Gurudwara in Beaverton
on October 21st 2018. They learned about Sikhism religious tradition , beliefs, practices, and rituals of religious community.
Care Packages

Retreat 2018 – Seaside, OR
The high school students spent a weekend at Seaside with Tr. Nura and Br. Omar as mentors. They prayed Salah in congregation and held halaqas with their mentors. They also spent time playing beach sports, splashing in the ocean, shopping in the nearby Mall, swimming in the hotel pool and having delicious smores around the campfire at night while listening to Tr. Nura’s famous Jinn stories!
