This was the 2nd quiz that our school has held, thanks to sister Farzana for making a reality. The children competed in jeopardy style and everyone enjoyed it and learned so much.

2018/2019 Islamic Project Fair
Another year of Bilal Sunday school students working very hard to create their projects. Despite the busy school schedules and activities they made sure that this was a very successful Fair! Here are a few pictures.
No School on Feb 10th, possibility of inclement weather
ASM All Parents,
Due to the possibility of inclement weather, Bilal Sunday school will be closed on Sunday (2/10/19). We are following Beaverton School District, they canceled all weekend daytime and evening events and activities.

Visiting Gurudwara
Level 9+ students visited the Gurudwara in Beaverton
on October 21st 2018. They learned about Sikhism religious tradition , beliefs, practices, and rituals of religious community.
Care Packages

Daylight savings ends this Saturday the 3rd of November

This is a friendly reminder, daylight saving time ends Saturday night. Please turn your clocks back one hour, before you go to bed Saturday night. Based on this daylight savings time change, Bilal Sunday School will start at 9:30 AM and End 12:45 PM starting from this sunday.

Bilal Weekend School welcomes you to another school year 2018-19. The classes start Insha’Allah on Sunday Sep 9th at 10:30 AM and end at 1:45 PM. Please make sure you arrive early to ensure your child is in class by 10:30, (please come 15 min early to walk your children to their classroom and to pick them up when school end). We will have lists of all students and the classes they are going to available in the school on Sunday. These lists will be posted at several places and in front of the door of their classroom.
Snacks for Children – Please send healthy snacks, a drink and a jacket for your child for the break time during Sunday school.
School Materials – Please make sure your child has pencils, notebook, coloring pencil, and any basic materials you can provide. Please communicate with your childs teacher about any other material your child may need.
Quickschools – If you are new to the school you may not be aware of quickschools. This system is where you can communicate with teachers and check on your childs progress. If you did not get an email invitation to quickschools please contact bassam@bilalsundayschool.com.
Special Morning Class:
For parents with students attending special morning class, please be sure to come by 9:30 AM. The special morning class is held in the Middle Building next to the main prayer hall.
Pick up and prayer:
Please come by 1:30 PM, so you can pray Dohr prayer at OLD MASJID ( Not BMA Center)

Bilal Sunday School welcomes you to another year. We invite you to register your child(ren) for the 2018-2019 academic year. The first day of the school year will be Sep 9th.
General Information
- This year we will continue to do both electronic and in-person face-to-face registration. Instructions are in the Registration section below.
- Please read the Discipline and the Dress Code Policy. Students will not be allowed to attend classes if dress code is violated and will be referred to disciplinary committee for violation of disciplinary code. You must agree to the policy when registering online and you will be required to sign a form if you register in-person.
- The school will start at 10:30 AM on September 9th, so plan to be there at 10:15 AM. If your child comes late, you will need to accompany them to the office and they will be marked late for that day.
Registration:
- Electronic registration activated now and will close on August 26th, midnight Pacific Time. You can register by clicking here.
- In-Person registration is only on Sunday August 26th, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM. There will not be any late in-person registration. If you are not going to be able to make it in-person, please register online before the deadline
- New students (except 1st graders) who have successfully registered either electronically or in-person will need to take a placement exam on Sunday August 26th, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Students who failed last year, will need to test on Saturday August 25th between 10:30 AM-1:30 PM. For Exam preparation instructions please click here.
- First day of School – Sunday September 9th, 10:30 AM
- Payment is due at registration. For in-person registration either one or two checks will be collected. See below.
